The official language used for the content of the Los Angeles Superior Court public website is English. What is the Office of the Family Law Facilitator?

The Office of the Family Law Facilitator assists self-represented parties with child support, spousal support and health insurance issues. The staff consists of attorneys and paralegals who provide education and information to assist parties to complete paperwork required for their court cases.

The staff does not give legal advice or represent a party in a case or at a court hearing. There is no confidentiality or attorney-client relationship created between the office and a party.

Parties may be referred by the court, or seek assistance on their own. Call first to get information about offices hours – days and times – and find out what to bring with you. The office does not provide assistance over the telephone other than to make appointments or answer general questions. Calls to any Facilitator Office should be made between 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. Click here to locate the Facilitator Office near you.

The Office of the Family Law Facilitator does not charge for its services nor does it accept any contributions.
